Who We Are

Welcome to the Center on Aging– Northeast. Our facility, one of seven in the state, is part of the Arkansas Aging Initiative and is a collaborative effort among St. Bernards Medical Center, the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), Area Health Education Center (AHEC)–Northeast, and the Donald W. Reynolds Center on Aging in Little Rock. Each Center on Aging consists of both a clinical and an educational component. As a result, The Center On Aging–Northeast will work together with the St. Bernards Senior Health Clinic to increase access to quality geriatric health care and assist with meeting the educational needs of the people in Northeast Arkansas.

Why We Are
Healthy aging is A REALITY.
The American population is living longer than ever before. In response, we must change how we feel and act toward aging. It is increasingly important to address the specific health care needs of seniors —not as a response to illness, but proactively. By making resources and education available to older adults, families and caregivers, the later years can be better years.
